Installation
Step 1: Push the first two pieces together and then twist in the frame screws.
Step 2: Place the gate door in the gate frame

Installation
Step 1: Install the lower wall mount hinge on the right side of the stairs when you are looking down
Step 2: Using the stud finder locate a stud in the wall must be a minimum of 6 inches from the edge of the top of the stair
Step 3: Position the upper hole of the lower mount wall hinge 2 ¼ inches from the floor
Step 4: Screw through the lower wall mount hinge through the drywall and stud
Step 5: Screw the hinge adjuster knobs clockwise into the gate panel
Step 6: Screw the top adjust receiver knobs clockwise into the second panel
Step 7: Place the main gate with the hinge adjustment knobs into hinges on the wall
Step 8: Make sure the 90-degree angle of the triangle on top is touching the other side without any gaps
Step 9: Slide the main gate panel to the left so the receiver adjustment knobs are ¼ inch from the wall
Step 10: At the top of the main gates, place the male couple underneath where gate panels meet
Step 11: Place the female couple on top of the two gate panels
Step 12: Snap couples together to secure the top of the gate
Step 13: Repeat the process to do the bottom of the gate
Step 14: Place the receiver adjustment knob into the latch assembly wall mount
Step 15: Mark the location of the holes
Step 16: Open the gate. It will swing away from the stairs. mount upper and lower receivers using screws
Step 17: When the gate is closed, there shouldn’t be any more than a 2 ½ inch gap from the wall to the first gate bar on each side
Step 18: Tighten down the 4 jams with the wrench

Step 20: Rotate the gate in a clockwise direction, and you’re done
